BTCC Exchange, a crypto futures platform, has recently received a cryptocurrency licence from the Registrar of Legal Entities of Lithuania, enabling the exchange to provide crypto trading services in Lithuania and other European countries, expanding its scope of service to reach more users worldwide.

The licences that BTCC obtained are crypto exchange licence and crypto wallet and custodian services licence. The former allows BTCC to establish relationships with traditional financial institutions within the territory. Users will be able to convert their digital currency to fiat currency or vice versa on the platform, which is a convenient feature for beginner traders in Europe to get into the crypto world.

With the crypto wallet and custodian services licence, BTCC is strictly regulated in managing clients’ wallets to store cryptocurrencies, including the generation and storage of encrypted client keys. The acquired licence provides a regulated gateway for European users to deposit and exchange cryptocurrencies on the platform.

Obtaining this Lithuanian crypto licence is a significant milestone for BTCC to be fully regulated and licenced worldwide. It demonstrates BTCC’s commitment to staying compliant with regulatory requirements, thereby creating a fair and transparent trading environment for users around the globe.

In addition to the Lithuanian crypto licence, BTCC is actively working its way to acquire more licences this year to meet regulatory requirements in different countries. For the latest news and updates on BTCC, please follow their social media channels:
