Belgrade, Serbia – CryptoKropotkin disrupts the NFT family by introducing a new form of generative art known as the ZX Error Art. This will be a way of preserving history by reminding people of the history of computers, decentralization, and gaming through the ZX Spectrum family.

The ZX Error Art is an exclusive collection of 7728 pieces of art that stems from error and test screens from the original ZX Spectrum computer family. A once identified error from the early 80s can be regarded as the first-ever generative art form.

The ZX computer family dates back to the 80s where there were the first-ever video games and marked the beginning of democratization of home computing. Sir Clive Sinclair had a heart from democratization, and that is when he launched the Sinclair ZX80 in 1980, the first gaming computer.

When a buyer buys from the NFT collection, they are not only buying art but are joining a heritage club that cherishes the roots of gaming, decentralization, generative art, and the beginning of computers.

The project views generative art from a new perspective. “Common fault” is now the first-ever form of generative art. Common faults inspire all the pieces in the collection to create unique pieces. The developing team reverse engineered the errors by collaborating with a renowned artist who created a physical form of generative art on a canvas painting.

Even though there will be thousands of art pieces, they will be in six different tiers, and every tier will represent a generation of the ZX computer family. The tiers will be based on the storage capacities.

CryptoKropotkin is a group of artists and developers who are the author of the ZX Error Art Project. The project’s name is after Peter Kropotkin, a Russian anarchist, influencer, revolutionary economist, sociologist and philosopher. He can be regarded as one of the crypto and blockchain movement pioneers as he was pushing for decentralization from the word go. The main goal of founding the Sir Clive Sinclair Foundation is contributing to the technologies we use today. The mission is to debunk the history of the democratization of personal computers and gaming while promoting the generative art form.

ZX Error art will be officially launched and minted on 16th December 2021.
