CoinGecko, the world’s largest independent crypto data aggregator, will host its first-ever conference next week. ‘GeckoCon – NFTs Gone Wild’ will take place on 17th to 19th November 2021 from 8 AM to 2 PM EST.
Attendees can take advantage of this opportunity to interact, ask questions, and hear first-hand from the various thought leaders.
Bobby Ong, Co-Founder of CoinGecko, said:
“NFTs are taking the world by storm! Not everyone can relate to decentralized ledgers, smart contracts, and yield farming, but when it comes to music, games and art – those are things that everyone can connect with. We strongly believe that NFTs are the bridge for non-crypto natives to start their journey into the cryptoverse, and that’s why we decided on the theme of NFTs for our inaugural conference. There’s something for everyone at GeckoCon, and we have a lot of surprises in store for attendees! We hope to see you there.”
Throughout the three-day virtual conference, there will be presentations, fireside chat and workshops covering a kaleidoscope of NFT themes, including art, music, gaming, sports, collectables, monetisation and more. There will be several panel sessions from over 150 key leaders in the NFT space, including Aleksander Larsan, Mav, Sebastian Borget, COO and co-founder of Sandbox, Mike Shinoda, lead vocalist of Linkin Park, and Akon, founder of Akoin.
What makes the conference even more exciting is the fun-packed activities that CoinGecko has to offer. These include various fringe events such as CoinGecko’s Champion of Champions eSports tournament, ‘How to mint NFT’ workshops in 12 different languages, Tezos Art Gallery, Decentral Games’ scavenger hunt, and Virtual
After Parties in the metaverse! The NFT workshops and Art Gallery will be happening at GeckoLand, which is open to the public for free!
CoinGecko has partnered with notable NFT projects, including Tezos, Katyn, Sandbox, Enjin, Gala Games, and Animoca Brands, to launch multiple NFT drops for GeckoCon’s attendees weeks before the event. If you missed out on these early drops, don’t worry, attendees can expect more NFT drops during GeckoCon itself indeed a rewarding conference!
