Rapper Moneybagg Yo to Launch Genesis NFT Collection on Blind Boxes

It seems that yet another celebrity is testing out the waters of NFTs. As per a March 9, 2022, announcement, Blind Boxes, an NFT launchpad, will be collaborating with rapper Moneybagg Yo.

This collaboration will see the rapper release two NFT collections totalling 10,000 NFTs on Blind Boxes and sayBLOWE on March 16, 2022, at 21:00 EST (March 17 @ 01:00 UTC). This collection will include rare NFTs that are ‘smokable’ which means that they can be redeemed for Midnight Patek cannabis products.

The NFTs in the collection will come with a variety of experiences, including the opportunity to meet the rapper for the more rare ones. The collection is being curated by sayBLOWE.io, a hip-hop-focused NFT platform that has collaborated with Blind Boxes in the past.

In total, 250 NFTs will be released on Blind Boxes and 1,750 will be released on sayBLOWE on March 16, 2022. The remaining 8,000 NFTs will be released on both sites on March 23, 2022.

The collection is divided by rarity into different categories including Rare, Ultra Rare, and Hella Rare. Those who purchase Ultra Rare NFTs get basic utility (physical products) plus whitelisting to all future sayBLOWE drops and 4 exclusive airdrops per year. Hella Rare NFT holders get Ultra Rare utility plus access to exclusive VIP events with Moneybagg Yo.

This project has been created as not only a commercial endeavor but a cultural one as well.

As such, users can redeem exclusive experiences with their NFTs and can also redeem cannabis products from them.

Some of the cannabis products that can be redeemed include Midnight Patek vape cartridges and cannabis flower from Soul Creations Management (SCM). Age and residency restrictions apply with respect to redeeming the physical products.
