I have been repeatedly asked when AMC expects to routinely accept Dogecoin and Shiba Inu for any and all payments made via the AMC web site and mobile app. I am being told that we are still well on track for the promised Q1 implementation, with exact timing most likely in March. pic.twitter.com/QSBvLAMHKx

Last year, in November, the AMC executive announced that the company will accept DOGE and SHIB using Bitpay. But, at that time Bitpay was not in support of Shiba Inu. Aron claimed that only after his request did the crypto payment processing company start supporting the meme coin.
In addition to this, Aron said that AMC will start accepting Shiba Inu in Q1 this year. Bitpay, which already supported DOGE, started holding up SHIB in early December.
