Solana_Daily hosts Corestarter: #multichain #NFT #marketplace #Corestarter #SolanaDaily #SOL
Solanda_Daily Admin: Hello and welcome, how are you today?
Jay Wilson: I’m good.
Solanda_Daily Admin: Happy to hear! Ready to start our AMA?
Jay Wilson: Great stuff! Yeah, let’s do it.
Q1: Now to start the AMA, can you introduce yourself, and give us a brief overview of CoreStarter?
Jay Wilson: Hey everyone! I’m Jay, the COO of CoreStarter. Thank you for joining us here today! I have been interested in the space for a long time, and had some early success as an investor and have loved seeing the adoption over the past 12 months!
CoreStarter is a cross-chain fundraising platform built on Solana, with an NFT marketplace in the works and high yield staking – up to 75% APY!
We aim to give power back to the small investor and create an equal playing field for all investors. Current launchpads only favour the large token holders and they don’t care about loyalty, not to mention the small investors get left behind in allocations. We make sure everyone is cared for and even offer a reversed staking system mechanism.
Q2: Can you tell us a bit about the team and their experience with crypto projects?
Jay Wilson: Our main team consists of our CEO and Founder Umesh Gupta who is a mathematics expert who has been studying blockchain for a number of years, we have Akhil Jindal who is our CFO, Shaminder Singh who is our Project manager, Sheekha Arora who is our relationship manager and we have a number of Devs working on the smart contracts and platform who have over 5 years experience working with smart contracts. We also have a number of strategic advisors and investors who have been critical in getting us to where we are today.
Q3: Giving power back to the small investor? Can you explain this in more detail?
Jay Wilson: Usually small investors only get a bottom tier, which is a lottery round so they will still miss out most of the time. We allow a small token holder to reach a top tier just by staking long term. For example if you have 1000 $CSTR tokens and stake for 10 days, you will have the same score as a user who stakes 10000 $CSTR for just one day just to access a launch ⚖️
We scrapped lottery rounds. We want everyone to have access to an allocation. We have a first-of-its-kind governance system that allows even low token holders to vote, and we have reversed our staking awards so that lower holders get a higher APY than the larger token holders. Our platform is the first of its kind, and created to support those starting out or who only have a small amount they can invest. We want launches to be accessible to everyone, and we believe this will truly decentralize the future 🔗
Q4: Solana is growing rapidly, who are your competitors and what is your advantage?
Jay Wilson: A great question. There are a number of competitors in the space these days, however we are unique and the only one of our kind. We are the only launchpad directed at giving power back to the small investor! We offer a higher APY for lower token holders, you can reach a top tier allocation with a small number of tokens just for staking long term, we reward by loyalty! We have a first of it’s kind governance system that is weighted so that even small token holders can have a vote. We really do value our community and want to create an even playing field for all. We also have an insurance treasury that all projects contribute to, this provides protection for our community and means your money will always be safe 🔐
Q5: Please tell us about the $CSTR token! What are the token use cases, distribution?
Jay Wilson: $CSTR powers our platform and has many use cases with more to come in the future! You can stake your $CSTR for up to 75% APY if you have under 5000 tokens, and over 5000 you will get up to 60% – both pretty generous numbers. While staking this will gain you access to our launches, don’t forget our tiered system rewards long-term staking. Best example is if you stake 1500 tokens for 365 days you will have access to the top tier. Pretty good long-term investment.
While staking you will earn governance rights on the platform. Our governance system doesn’t just let the large holders have a say, smaller token holders have a say with a first-of-its-kind weighted system.
On top of this you will be able to use $CSTR to make purchases on the NFT marketplace once that is up and running next year. We have a p2e title in early discussions and you can be sure that will use the token too.
I guess to summarise, Fundraising, rewards, governance and purchases. Token utility is so important and we plan to increase its use case over time as our platform evolves.
Q6: I saw you are listing on exchanges, can you talk about this? Also any incentives you have for users who buy your token after TGE?
Jay Wilson: Yes absolutely! We are currently completing our IDO at the same time this AMA is on! We have raised 100k through TrustPad and 50k through our platform once it is completed. We will then be listing on Raydium AND Gate.io on the 18th at 12pm UTC which we are SO excited about! Our community has grown rapidly so we are excited to see how the listing goes.
We do have a pretty special incentive following TGE. For 30 days post TGE we will be offer 200% APY to stake on our platform. No lock, no catch just 200% for 30 days. Once the 30 days is up the rewards go back to our standard amounts (still up to 75%!). So that means the earlier you stake the more rewards you earn. A pretty good way to kick of your $CSTR Journey if you ask me!
Q7: Where can we find out more about CoreStarter on social media?
Jay Wilson: We have everything in the one spot with our linktree! This includes links to all of our socials including our local community chats depending on where you are located in the world. We are a community that is spread across the world, and aim to be inclusive of everyone. https://linktr.ee/CoreStarter. If you just wanted to check out our twitter though head to https://twitter.com/CoreStarter
Solanda_Daily Admin: With this, we are now at the end of our AMA session with CoreStarter.
Time for wrapping up, any last words you would like to say to our community?
Jay Wilson: Thank you to everyone who joined!
Solanda_Daily Admin: Thank you so much for spending time with our community & all the very best for CoreStarter.
