Shiba Inu Devs Set Out To “Deliver An Exceptional Product” As SHIB Metaverse Is Finally Unveiled

The Shiba Inu metaverse is finally coming together even as uncertainty soars. Shiba Inu developers have revealed more details of the virtual reality project which is now officially named ‘SHIB: The Metaverse’.

The Shiba Inu team has stated that the project will serve as a rallying point for the Shiba Inu community to fully benefit from the Shiba ecosystem. The project will also bring in new partners as it sets out to “deliver an exceptional product”.

SHIB: the metaverse will roll out in phases in which the SHIB ecosystem tokens including SHIB, BONE, and LEASH will all play major roles. The first event lined up is the launch of the project’s official domain, SHIB.io, which is to happen in the coming days.

Following this will be the first stage of the project itself, which is the phased sale of virtual land. In the first drop, 36,431 land plots will be unlocked. The pricing of the sale is divided into four categories: Silver Fur, Gold Tail, Platinum Paw, and Diamond Teeth will cost between 0.2 Ether (ETH) to 1 ETH.

“As we will use the collected funds to pay for the Metaverse development, team have decided to use a neutral coin that can be sold into stablecoins in order to pay all the sources,” the post said, explaining the use of ETH, a non-SHIB ecosystem token.

The lands sale will also unveil four districts of the SHIB metaverse namely the Growth District, Defense District, Technology District, and the Currencies District which all have unique fun features.

Ultimately, there will be a total of 100,595 land plots, some of which will remain private for common use. Landholders will also earn passive income, gather in-game resources, and generate rewards, which will be revealed soon.

Also noted in the exposé is the fact that the entire metaverse project will be developed on Shibarium, a Layer 2 solution for the Shiba Inu ecosystem. SHIB, LEASH, and BONE will be joined by SHI – a stablecoin under development – to be the currencies of the virtual world. 

Meanwhile, the AAA game development studio that will develop the art for the projects will also be disclosed in the coming days.

SHIB Rages On

The rage of the meme crypto has been gradually expanding. The Twitter account of SHIB has recently crossed the 3 million mark. It celebrated the milestone, calling it a new level of success.
