XcelTrip accepts Shiba Inu in 2.3 million hotels and 450+ airlines in 70+ countries

  • Xceltrip now accepts SHIB in 2.3 million hotels, 450 airlines and 70 countries.
  • Apart from Shiba, nine other cryptocurrencies are accepted on the platform.
  • Shiba Inu’s continuous expansion seems to be unavoidable.

The popular memecoin, Shiba Inu, has acquired a new business partner in the form of the decentralized ticket and hotel booking website XcelTrip, which just made the announcement that it would begin accepting SHIB as a payment mechanism. By utilizing their SHIB holdings, owners can now make reservations at 2.30 million hotels and over 450 airlines located in 70 different countries.

XcelTrip has joined the ranks of upscale businesses like Gucci and Tag Heuer by offering SHIB as a payment option. These luxury firms announced in May that customers will be able to make purchases using the digital currency. XcelTrip is now joining these other luxury brands.

Customers of XcelTrip will soon have access to a decentralized travel environment thanks to the company’s efforts. They will be able to directly communicate with one another and access travel service providers via this decentralized travel network, eliminating the need for intermediaries in the process of trip planning and booking.

The company has also established a platform and a basis to leverage crypto adoption and crypto use-cases in order to make this system completely decentralized.

XcelTrip currently accepts a total of nine digital currencies, including all of the big ones, in addition to this most recent arrival. Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), Binance Coin (BNB), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), XcelDefi (XLD), XDC Network (XDC), and XcelToken Plus (XLB) are the cryptocurrencies that are included in the list.

Shiba Inu’s continuous growth seems to be unavoidable. In the following days and months, more corporations are anticipated to jump on this bandwagon. An agreement with Lavu, a leading worldwide restaurant software and payments solution provider, as well as Verifone, a global FinTech company and payment solution provider, has made it possible to make Shiba Inu payments at thousands of restaurants across 65 countries.

It seems that Redbull, a well-known energy drink company, is interested in partnering with Shiba Inu too. Despite the lack of specifics, SHIB principal developer Shytoshi Kusama has been hinting at a contract with the business.
