Klever To Launch Mainnet, Native Token KFI on July 1

    • KleverChain mainnet launches on July 1 along with its native token KFI.

The public blockchain infrastructure provider, Klever, has announced the launch of KleverChain Mainnet to kickstart on July 1. Klever will also launch their native token KFI on the same day. 

The KleverChain Mainnet is a Layer 1 blockchain network that is inspired by the core ideologies of the blockchain industry and thereby aims to enable developers to build decentralized applications (dApps).

This launch comes on the heels of the release of Klever’s technical whitepaper detailing the workflow of KleverChain, a proof-of-stake blockchain with 21 validators, which happened earlier this week. The whitepaper highlights the team’s plans to build a cyclic, beneficial ecosystem that connects and powers all Klever products.

The mainnet complies with distributed ledger technology (DLT) principles and aims to simplify blockchain processes and activities by eliminating complexities that decelerate user adoption. The testnet layer 1 was completed in 2021, and after its launch, KleverChain will prepare for testnet layer 2 launch in 2024 and Mainnet Layer 2 launch in 2026.

Speaking of the launch of KleverChain’s Mainnet, the Co-Founder and CEO of Klever, Dio Ianakiara, stated that “Klever has a completely different approach and instead builds the Klever Blockchain with smart contracts coded into the blockchain itself. It is inspired by what Satoshi Nakamoto did with Bitcoin: code once and the Klever contract or Kapp as we call it will be there forever for anyone to use.”

Klever’s Director of Communications, Misha Lederman, also opined about this launch, saying

The KleverChain Mainnet launch is certainly the next chapter of the Klever Ecosystem. But more importantly, Klever Blockchain’s use of smart contracts coded native to the blockchain (Kapps) made available for developers worldwide as simple and essential crypto features to tap into at the click of a button, is in actuality taking blockchain building in the entire crypto space to the next level.

To celebrate the launch of this mainnet and the whitepaper, KleverChain has come up with a countdown giveaway of $1 million, titled Klever Hackathon Bounty program that ends at 23:50, June 30.
