Cere Network, the world’s first Decentralized Data Cloud (DDC) platform, has launched DaVinci, the first direct content monetization platform for NFT-backed experiences. Polygon Studios’ NFT and gaming arm, Polygon Studios, will provide support for the platform, which will be deployed on Polygon’s network.
Cere’s Decentralized Data Cloud (DDC) and Cere Freeport, the NFT mining platform implemented on Polygon, power DaVinci, the all-in-one Web3 media platform. By combining these technologies, DaVinci is able to deliver personalized content to NFT holders via the Cere DDC’s smart contracts. It tackles the industry-wide problem of NFT-backed assets lacking security while enabling true decentralized ownership by facilitating decentralized data transfers alongside (NFT) value transfers.
Cere’s Freeport NFT smart contract toolset is used by the DaVinci platform, allowing producers to mint and sell functioning NFTs that grant access to exclusive content. Each NFT developed on DaVinci’s platform will be tied to the original creator via smart contracts that guarantee a portion of royalties from any sale and provide a mechanism for the continuous distribution of exclusive new content. Artists will be able to target their work to NFT holders using DaVinci’s user interaction, audience research, and analytics capabilities, improving both fan loyalty and the value of those NFTs.
Fred Jin, Co-founder of Cere Network says: “Most NFT content is not stored securely on the blockchain, This is a problem, simply because your NFT can lose its content and associated value. The DaVinci platform solves this problem via Cere DDC’s secure decentralized content delivery innovations. We’re really breaking new ground here, both for the entertainment industry and consumer enterprises, through a new standard for decentralizing data/content along with the Polygon team.”
White-labeled experiences for enterprise brands, content that compensates artists for views, subscription or ticket models for exclusive performances, multi-payment support, and pre-integrated custodial wallets for non-crypto-savvy audiences are just a few of the additional features introduced by the platform. Several artists, performers, and brand collaborators will be announced in the following weeks on the DaVinci platform.

“The world has seen only the tip of the iceberg in terms of what NFTs are capable of,” said Sandeep Nailwal, Co-Founder of Polygon. “There is so much more that artists and fans are able to accomplish and access through DaVinci that realizes more of the blockchain potential to the mainstream consumers. Artists, performers, and brands get more revenue from their unique content, while fans get better experiences and secure delivery of their assets. Everyone’s a winner here and we’re excited for this new standard for artist and fan engagement.”
Decentraland, Opensea, Sandbox, Somnium Space, and Decentral Games are just a few of the top blockchain-based Web 3.0 games and NFT projects that Polygon Studios has worked with. Outside of Ethereum, Polygon PoS boasts 5x more gaming and NFT dApps than any other chain, with a total ecosystem of over 7,000 applications.
