Crypto.com Becomes Official Sponsor to 2022 FIFA World Cup

The recent sponsorship deal gives Crypto.com the possibility to conduct a strategic brand expansion within and outside the FIFA stadiums during the 2022 World Cup event.

Popular crypto exchange Crypto.com has officially secured a sponsorship deal for FIFA World Cup 2022 to be held later this year in Qatar. As per the announcement, the deal will give Crypto.com a major branding boost. The crypto trading platform also secures branding rights within and outside the football stadiums.

Crypto.com is one of the major crypto exchanges serving more than 10 million customers worldwide. Besides, the Singapore-based exchange will also be the exclusive crypto trading platform for FIFA events in Qatar. The total compensation for this sponsorship deal remains undisclosed.

Similarly, Crypto.com users can get the opportunity to attend the FIFA matches during the World Cup and win merchandise. Speaking of the development. Kay Madati, FIFA’s Chief Commercial Officer said:

Crypto exchange Crypto.com has been largely affiliated with several sports events and deals. This includes partnerships across a very wide range of sporting events.

Last year, Crypto.com signed a $175 million 10-year sponsorship agreement with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). It also signed a $100-million sponsorship agreement with Formula 1. Last November, Crypto.com also acquired the rights to rename the Los Angeles Staples Center to Crypto.com Arena.
