Seeing the response to the call for help from Ukraine by the global citizens, the expectations that more thoughtful donations will be given to the Ukrainians are very high.
CryptoPunk #5364 from the iconic CryptoPunk collection has been donated by an anonymous owner to support the ongoing relief efforts in Ukraine. The CryptoPunk was sent to the official Ethereum address of the Ukrainian government, coming off as the most prestigious Non-Fungible Token (NFT) to be donated to Ukraine since the country officially solicited help from the public.
It is hard to ascertain what the sales price of the CryptoPunk NFT will be, seeing the floor price of the collection as seen on the Larva Labs platform is pegged at 68.9 ETH ($206,704.83 USD). Tom Robinson of crypto tracing firm Elliptic was one of the first persons to notice the CryptoPunk in the Ukrainian wallet, and he predicted the price will be about $200,000.
The value of the donated CryptoPunk is pegged to be slightly higher at 79.2 ETH worth approximately $237570 at the current Ethereum price of $2999.63. The predicted price of the CryptoPunks NFT was made by DeepNFTvalue, a blog that uses machine learning to estimate prices for rare NFTs.
While the CryptoPunk #5364 donor remains anonymous, the owner, per the details from the associated wallet address transaction shows that other related NFTs have been collected in the past. The donated NFT was acquired back in February 2021 for a price of $31,300 and has grown remarkably in value over the past year.

However, while no one wants to show forth their philanthropic prowess amidst this ongoing war, the ultimate clamor remains for President Vladimir Putin to call off Russia’s troops and put a speedy end to this war.
While we may be speculating on which NFT collection will lend its backing to ameliorate the pains or discomfort Ukrainians are facing during these difficult times, we can also help but wish that the growing sanctions on the Russian economy will be used as one of the reference points to bring an end to the ongoing diplomatic debacle.
