Cyborg Legends Introduces a Unique Collection of Utility NFTs

The current gaming market is one of the most popular industries on the planet. It’s estimated to be worth $173.7 billion and will increase to $314.4 billion by 2026. Currently, gamers use consoles or PCs for gaming, trading their time for entertainment. However, a new gaming model is looking to change that. The Play-to-Earn (P2E) gaming market came onto the scene in 2021, providing gamers with the opportunity to earn an income whilst they play. During gameplay, gamers can earn unique NFTs, cryptocurrencies and several other rewards that can be transferred into real currency. Now a new game is looking to change the way we play through a unique collection of utility NFTs.

Cyborg Legends is a 3v3 Arena AutoBattler game designed around team-based combat. Players are given the objective of creating their own team, consisting of unique skill sets to defeat NPCs and other players (during PvP combat). Each team has their own captain, who will provide additional buffs whilst alive. Players have two main gameplay options. They can choose to fight against NPCs in PvE expeditions, in which they’ll earn CYBL tokens. Alternatively, they can put their team to the test against other players in PvP matches. Rewards in the form of CYBL and NFTs are provided in both options and can be sold for other cryptocurrencies or fiat.

The Storyline Behind Cyborg Legends

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic future where eight races are fighting for survival. These are Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Treants, Dark Elves, Orcs, Demons and Undeads, all of which have turned themselves into cyborgs to survive the harsh environments. When players first log into the game, they will be provided with 3 shadow characters. They can be upgraded with shadow stones to kick-start the game. As gamers progress through different levels, they will earn NFTs, CYBL and most commonly, mystery box fragments. For every 100 fragments collected, players can redeem a mystery box which will provide them with an NFT.

The characters gamers use can be completely customized, with 4 skill slots to branch into as well as thousands of unique NFT skins. They can also level up their characters and in the process their base level stats. These stats are important during expeditions, as higher-level characters will be able to take on more challenging monsters. If players prefer to take a more passive approach, they also have the option to rent out their characters for a certain time period. This allows them to make a passive income without having to play.

Although the game is still under development, it has already attracted the attention of players around the globe and is predicted to become a big hit throughout the P2E market.
