Cyprus has hosted a flagship blockchain and cryptocurrency event

A luxury spa & resort hotel in Limassol Parklane gathered  the brightest and most influential minds in the crypto space on 4-5 May.

Parklane became a meeting point for the world’s most disruptive fintech trends. Event gathered 700+ entrepreneurs, traders, investors, developers and industry enthusiasts.

There were 6 panels, numerous on-site interviews, expert conference program and transformational workshops to explore the transforming role of blockchain, GameFi, NFT and more. Renowned speakers from blockchain and digital asset companies shared their stories and insights on the market and its prospects.

Head of Financial Regulation & Advisory at AGP Law Firm Mihaela Grigoriou gave effect to the Blockchain Fest by speech devoted to Regulation of DeFi-CeFi as well as CEO of European Digital Assets Exchange Mauro Andriotto sharing state of art Security token legislation.

The culmination of the event started on the 2nd day between 12:20 and 13:00 with the panel discussion Banking in 2022: Banks Vs Crypto. Institutional Partnerships Manager at the University of Nicosia (UNIC) Nick Assimentos, Director Group Compliance Division at Bank of Cyprus Marios M. Skandalis and Deputy Director General & Head of HQ Unit at Invest Cyprus Marios Tannousis tried to find out the patterns of crypto evolving process and came to the conclusion that banks are not against crypto but their arms are titled by regulations outside.

New addition to the program was brought by Founder & CEO at Christiana Aristidou LLC Christiana Aristidou introducing the topic on How tokens transform Cyprus Real Estate.

The Blockchain Fest 2022 strengthened its reputation as the main crypto event in Cyprus by bringing industry trends and cut edge news.

The event should now serve as a pivotal point for the convergence of modern finance, fintech, blockchain and digital assets ushering in a new era of business and economic growth on the site of European financial hub for all crypto lovers.
