DoodlesTV Launches on Base with Exclusive Season Pass

Ethereum NFT project Doodles has launched its own streaming and membership platform, offering a season pass for access to exclusive content. The platform, called DoodlesTV, is now available on Coinbase’s Base, an Ethereum layer-2 scaling network. The season pass, known as DoodlesTV Super Pass, can be minted today for 0.0021 ETH, approximately $7 at present.

Early Access to Exclusive Content

DoodlesTV is designed to provide holders with exclusive content, premieres, and special viewing events. Holders of the DoodlesTV Super Pass will enjoy early access to:

  • Three music videos before their release on streaming platforms
  • The animated special “Dullsville and the Doodleverse” prior to its global release

The “Dullsville and the Doodleverse” film, directed by Doodles founder Scott “Burnt Toast” Martin, is scheduled for release in September. The film features music produced by Pharrell Williams, adding to its anticipated appeal.

Enhancing Community Engagement

Doodles CEO Julian Holguin emphasized the project’s vision in a release, stating, “We’re establishing a new paradigm for bringing stories to market, monetizing them, and creating deeper connections to the people that make all of this possible—our community.” He added that DoodlesTV aims to transform each media rollout into a shared, exclusive moment for the community.

Integration with The Stoodio and Additional Perks

DoodlesTV will be integrated within The Stoodio on the Doodles app. Super Pass holders will receive special perks, including:

  • Four special pieces of album and film art featuring various artists
  • Priority access to the Doodles Records soundtrack for original Doodles holders

Building a Direct-to-Community Media Platform

DoodlesTV seeks to create a direct-to-community media platform, fostering interaction between fans and creators, along with offering exclusive content and collectibles. The project aims to position artists and their communities at the forefront of cultural moments.

Jesse Pollak, creator of Base, commented on the launch, “With the launch of DoodlesTV on Base, we’re witnessing the journey of animators bringing their dreams to life on-chain. As we head into the next generation of the internet, we’re excited to see creators of all kinds own their content and be rewarded for it.”
