The world’s largest crypto encyclopedia is joining the Ethereum ecosystem. Everipedia is now IQ.wiki with a brand new site running on Polygon. The new platform was designed from the ground up to serve as a knowledge hub for the crypto ecosystem. IQ.wiki is fully Web3 with IQ stakers governing the platform.
We decided to launch IQ.wiki on Polygon to ensure that our platform is at the heart of the Ethereum ecosystem while also providing scalability. To ensure a gasless experience for all IQ.wiki contributors we’ve also integrated the OpenZeppelin defender relayer.
IQ.wiki is fully Web3, IQ token stakers govern the platform and earn IQ rewards for staking and contributing. The new IQ.wiki name signifies these changes and how the IQ token is central to the platform.
For full transparency, every edit or change to the encyclopedia will be recorded on the Polygon blockchain with the transaction hash stored on-chain. The data and images uploaded as part of each wiki are stored on the IPFS network and the hashes are included on each page for the users to verify.
To try out the new site while we are in beta, you just need to sign up for the IQ Brainlist. We’ve started sending out invitations today. Once the beta period finishes we’ll launch HiIQ Brainpass NFTs for editors which can be earned by staking IQ or purchased with IQ tokens. These NFTs will provide several benefits for holders including the ability to edit IQ.wiki.
IQ.wiki already has a lot of great wikis about the Polygon ecosystem including Cryptocurrencies like Polygon itself to NFTs like Zed Run to Exchanges like Quickswap to People in Crypto like Sandeep Nailwal. While our community has started some great IQ.wiki pages, we invite everyone in the Polygon community to share their knowledge and create wikis about all of the great dapps and builders on Polygon.
