Gomu is excited to launch its NFT API and SDK on Polygon to supercharge the development cycle, taking projects from zero to launch in days, not weeks. With its robust API and SDK offerings, teams can now launch experiences on Polygon with fewer development resources while achieving the same impactful results.
Gomu APIs offer both on-chain and off-chain Web3 data. Previously only serving Ethereum, Gomu has aggressively expanded its APIs to ensure the same quality data on Polygon. Instead of setting up their own nodes and infrastructure, developers can now use Gomu APIs and SDKs to build NFT portfolio features, enable NFT commerce, optimize NFT asset loading, and more. This reduces the setup and launch timelines, enabling teams to go to market faster.
“Top gaming studios, social media networks, and artists are building and launching the next generation of Web3 games, NFT collections, and reward programs on Polygon,” said Spencer Yang, co-founder of Gomu, “We’ve listened to the developer community and are excited to launch Gomu NFT API and SDK for Polygon to make it easier than ever to create outstanding user experiences.”
Launched in May 2022, Gomu has seen development teams using their APIs and SDK to integrate Web3 elements into both existing and new products, running the gamut from crypto wallets and NFT marketplaces, to NFT collection sites.
To access the Polygon dataset on Gomu, developers can simply input the chain query parameters in the Gomu API call. In addition to this update, Gomu has delivered a suite of updated features for developers to seamlessly improve their products, including:
- More data: View market statistics, rarity, and social information for NFTs, collections and owners
- Flexible, robust calls: Slice and dice the data with in-depth filters and flexible call parameters
- Inspiration: Get project inspiration with the Gomu Power demo app, showcasing potential use cases to spark the next big idea
- Enable commerce: Use the Gomu SDK to initiate buy/sell/cancel orders on Opensea and 0x directly within an app
Gomu will continue to provide more industry-leading datasets and empower deeper interactions on Polygon for developers. On the roadmap are new sources of off-chain data and marketplace support, as well as additional widgets and tooling to help accelerate development.
