
Binance Announces GoPlus Security (GPS) Token Listing
On March 4, Binance announced that it will distribute GoPlus Security (GPS) tokens to its BNB users one hour prior to the token’s listing. The token will officially be available for trading on March 4 at 13:00 UTC. Binance users can trade GPS in the following pairs:
- USDT (USDT)
- USDC (USDC)
- BNB (BNB)
- FDUSD (FDUSD)
- TRY (TRY)
In addition, Binance users who had BNB subscribed to Simple Earn and/or On-Chain Yields products between February 19 and February 24 will be eligible to receive GPS tokens as part of the airdrop event.
Price Surge Following Binance Listing Announcement
Following the announcement of the listing, the price of GoPlus Security (GPS) saw a notable increase of 15%, reaching $0.16. This is the highest price point for the token since February. Despite this recent spike, the token has experienced a 16% decline over the past month but has gained nearly 18% in the last week.
At press time, GPS is trading at $0.14, reflecting an 11% increase. Since its launch on January 16, GoPlus Security’s native token has accumulated a market capitalization of over $264 million and a fully diluted valuation of $1.4 billion. The Binance listing has also significantly boosted the token’s daily trading volume, which surged by nearly 410% in the past 24 hours, reaching over $35 million.
Binance Seed Tag for GPS Token
As part of its listing, Binance will apply a seed tag to GPS. This tag is typically used by the exchange to indicate that the token is part of a new or emerging project, which may carry higher trading risks compared to more established tokens. The GPS token will be available for trading on the Base (BASE) network, further expanding its accessibility to a wider audience.

Just a day before the Binance listing announcement, GoPlus Security’s former chief, Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, shared a post from the project warning users about the serious security risks associated with trading Ronaldinho’s newly launched STAR10 token on the Binance Smart Chain. The warning highlighted the importance of user vigilance and secure trading practices, underlining GoPlus Security’s commitment to protecting users within the crypto space.
