Huobi Global, one of the world’s leading digital asset exchanges, announced that its listing of the seventh Primelist project (GamesPad) GMPD this past week saw the token jump nearly 27x from its opening price, peaking at $1.48 USDT. Huobi Primelist is an exclusive token listing platform where users can apply for an allocation of newly listed tokens at the opening price by either holding Huobi Tokens or waiting until listing day to queue for numbered tickets.
GMPD is a token under GamesPad, a company that is building a gaming, NFT and Metaverse ecosystem through its launchpad for emerging games. GamesPad gives retail investors the chance to invest in these games on terms that are on par with those of venture capital firms. The seventh Primelist event reflects Huobi’s recognition of GamesPad’s long-term vision and growth plans.
According to the data released by Huobi, approximately 479,841 users spanning 161 countries participated in the event. More than 35.17 million Huobi Tokens were held by participants and 4,909,090 GMPD tokens were offered during the event.
Primelist token listings have seen impressive performance since kicking off in early November, with each token growing at least 20x in price within the first 15 minutes of listing.
The Primelist team selects projects from multiple fields including NFT, DeFi, and GameFi, and screens each project carefully, thereby ensuring quality and investor participation in each project’s development. Huobi Global looks at the feasibility and maturity of the business model, the number of users and quality of the community, a solid development plan, and quality of the underlying product when evaluating a project for listing.
Starting Dec 24, Huobi Global users will be able to purchase new asset DIOs on Huobi Primelist through either queuing for numbered tickets or holding HT tokens for two days. DIO is a token under Estonia-based blockchain video developer Fracture Labs, which will be launching Decimated, its flagship, blockchain-based multiplayer survival game in 2022.
