The Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) has accepted IOHK’s research paper on ‘Practical Settlement Bounds for Proof-of-Work Blockchains’ to be part of the ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS).
The conference will be held in November in Los Angeles where theoretical papers must make convincing cases for the relevance of their results to practice.

The ACM conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS) is an annual event of the Association for Computing Machinery’s (ACM) for the Special Interest Group on Security, Audit, and Control (SIGSAC). The conference brings together researchers and developers globally, to discuss ideas and outcomes.

Before the weekend, an update proposal was made to increase #Cardano mainnet block size by 8K. This change will take effect later today at the boundary of epoch 335, Monday 25th April @ UTC 20:20:00. The current block size is 80KB, and after this change, it will be 88KB 🧵 1/5

On April 25, Cardano announced a new update proposal to increase its mainnet block size by 8,000. This will effectively change the current block size from 80 KB to 88 KB. The update took effect on the same day.
