Blockchain software developer Jelurida sealed a deal with innovations aggregator Ticino Blockchain Technologies Association (TBTA) to connect its solutions with crypto companies and universities based in Ticino, Switzerland, CoinQuora has learned.
With this partnership, Jelurida becomes a TBTA gold member joining Bitcoin.com, MOOV Airways AG, Interchain Stiftung, EventBoost SA, Elly, Poseidon Group, and more. Jelurida’s technologies will be used by students who wish to enter the blockchain industry. According to a press release, the collaboration also seeks to expand the Swiss education system.
Jelurida’s Nxt, Ardor, and IGNIS are said to play a key role in growing the blockchain industry in the region and help establish new use cases with other blockchain solutions providers.
The announcement comes after the TBTA’s Think Tank 2022, where several blockchain and crypto companies opened the discourse on blockchain-based events, the future of payments, the city of Lugano’s planned crypto adoption, and more.
Tomislav Gountchev, Lead Software Architect and Director of Jelurida, said the partnership aligns with Lugano’s “Plan B”:
Jelurida is happy to join the TBTA and contribute to the success of [the] Lugano Plan B. We are excited about being able to establish Ticino as the blockchain innovation hub in Switzerland in collaboration with the local universities, research centers, and other enterprises.
Lugano’s Plan B will see Lugano make Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), and its own LVGA token as legal tender. Similar to El Salvador’s BTC legal tender set, the Swiss city plans to have all of its businesses use crypto for everyday transactions. Lugano’s Plan B also seeks to enable crypto payments using the mentioned tokens for taxes.
