DaVinci, the first NFT experience and monetization platform for creators and brands, today announced a live sports first as Kell Brook will release a set of NFTs and unique custom content for purchasers in anticipation of his boxing match with Amir Khan. Fans will be able to buy unique NFTs based on round-by-round scenarios and outcomes. Prediction outcome winners of the match will join post-fight experiences with Brook, whereas all NFT buyers will receive exclusive content tied into the NFTs as well as be able to participate in post-fight virtual exhibit and auction. The DaVinci platform, hosted on Cere Network’s Decentralized Data Cloud (DDC), allows creators and brands to launch exclusive NFT content, delivering the personalized content securely via The Cere Decentralized Data Cloud, and continuously engage audiences beyond the NFT transaction.
Kell Brook, British professional boxer and former Welterweight titleholder, said:
“This is a ground-breaking experience for live sports, allowing my fans to collect unique and exclusive collectibles through NFTs before, during, and after the fight. This fight with Khan has been a long time in the making and now the fight will live on via these NFTs forever. I will continue to create unique experiences for fans who own my NFTs.”
Through DaVinci, fans and customers can engage and securely access their purchased content on a decentralized data cloud, while assured the content lives on the blockchain. As part of the launch, DaVinci is also sponsoring Brook. The British boxer will be wearing DaVinci-branded clothing leading up to, during, and following the fight. This is the first fight between Brook and Khan, both British boxers, with the fight taking place in Manchester, England on Saturday, February 19 at 10pm GMT/5pm ET. Fans who try to predict the outcome of the fight through DaVinci will be entered for real-world interaction and experiences with Brook.
Fred Jin, CEO of Cere Network’s DaVinci, said:
“This is a game-changer for professional sports, introducing customizable unique NFTs and blockchain experiences through the DaVinci platform. It allows sporting events, athletes, and celebrities to capitalize on new venues for revenue, while giving fans genuine unique content that they can collect or sell in the future. It’s a win-win for all involved.”
