The year-long partnership between FactBlock, Hashed, ROK Capital, and MarketAcross has now yielded this year’s Korea Blockchain Week (KBW). The annual event is a flagship and the most profound crypto convention in all of Asia.
South Korea’s capital, Seoul, will hold KBW2022 at the InterContinental Grand Seoul Parnas. The event will kick off on Aug. 7, running until Aug. 12. This is the first time KBW holds an in-person meeting after a two-year hiatus following disruptions by the prevailing pandemic.
PR and marketing firm MarketAcross will handle the event’s global awareness and marketing strategies, both before and after the event. The firm will also bring in the industry’s influential speakers, making the convergence one of the most prolific in the world. Meanwhile, blockchain consultancy firm FactBlock and Hashed VC will, in partnership with ROK Capital, co-host the event.
KBW’s attendees will include world leaders in the blockchain industry, such as evangelists and business persons. Their agendas will span blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, NFTs, the Metaverse, Web 3.0, and GameFi among others. Previous KBW conventions have hosted iconic blockchain players including Vitalik Buterin, Sam Bankman-Fried, Nick Szabo, Silvio Micali, Michael Novogratz, and Gavin Wood. Others are Adam Back, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), Sergey Nazarov, and Sébastien Borget, to mention a few.

The former will take place right after KBW2022 (Aug, 13-14), where the world’s most seasoned drivers will battle for first place on the streets of Seoul.
The second festival, Seoul FESTA, converges different K-wave contents including K-Pop, K-Beauty, and K-Food so that visitors get to experience all forms of Korean culture in one place.
