Mavia, Machinations Inks Deal to Build Sustainable In-Game Economy

Play-to-earn Heroes of Mavia and Machinations has collaborated to build a sustainable and healthy in-game economy for the MMO strategy game through the Game Economy Health Monitoring Service.

Mavia is currently undergoing careful examination that includes large-scale simulations for different scenarios and inflation-deflation tests.

Managing Director of Skrice Studios Tristan Chaudhry commented that the team is “determined to create the best experience for [their players].” Underlining the importance of the partnership and Skrice Studios’ goal to expand the definition of a AAA quality blockchain game, Chaudhry added:

“Our standards demand the best graphics, and the game economy must be sustainable long-term. We are pushing the boundaries of what it means to make a AAA quality blockchain game. We are partnering with Machinations to validate Mavia’s economic health and obtain the ‘Verified by Machinations’ seal.”

The “Verified by Machinations” seal will be given after Mavia meets the criteria of a “world-leading game economy platform.”

Notably, Machinations will still have to monitor Mavia’s economy even after the Binance-backed MMO strategy secures the coveted seal. The game will be observed based on live telemetry and Web 3.0 market data so developers can fix any underlying issues.

Heroes of Mavia is looking to be one of the biggest P2E games in esports and competitive gaming by maintaining a sustainable in-game economy. With a healthy game economy, gamers are given leeway for economic advancement within the game while also generating income for the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).

In January 2022, Heroes of Mavia secured $5.5 million in strategic funding from Binance Labs. Not long after, the game was able to bag another $2.5 million during a seeding round led by Crypto.com.
