- Cryptoverse, a recent metaverse entry, claims to bring blockchain gaming to the mainstream.
- This claim comes from the technological advancements from the metaverse game.
- The metaverse features Unreal Engine 5, development kits for modders, and XR experiences.
Cryptoverse, a new metaverse game, claims to utilize Epic Game’s latest engine named Unreal Engine 5 (UE5). Its technology will include development kits for modders. Additionally, the game will feature VR, AR, and XR experiences.
The developers will also include advanced software development kits (SDK) for modders to customize the in-game world. Modders will be able to implement animations and effects with no-code tools. Alternatively, expert modders will be provided with even more advanced SDKs to shape the world to their liking.
The game will also feature Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Extended Reality (XR) experiences using the latest technology alongside top cinematic artists from world-class studios.
As a metaverse, Cryptoverse will feature unique social mechanics such as different social layers and gamification mechanics. Additionally, players can own assets such as avatars, vehicles, buildings, and land plots – all powered by interoperable NFTs.
The Cryptoverse is composed of an archipelago of eight islands, each representing a different zone. Each zone has its own unique aesthetic that fits its community. Players will be free to customize their zones to their liking, creating an ever-evolving virtual world. Additionally, there will be a Hub world, simply called The Hub, that acts as a gathering place for Cryptoversians.
The Cryptoverse Co-Founder Robbie Cochrane said the following about Cryptoverse:
“The Cryptoverse is an immersive 3D virtual world built in Unreal 5 which is underpinned by blockchain technology. Within the Cryptoverse, users will be empowered to create, own LAND, govern and monetize experiences using CGG, the token which also underpins the ChainGuardians and ChainBoost ecosystem.”
Cryptoverse is going to launch a pre-sale for its Land soon. It will be held inside the Cryptoverse’s ‘The Hub’ and other zones. Users can avail of a 10% discount when purchasing from partner launchpads and NFT marketplaces. It will be governed by the CCG token used on ChainGuardians, connecting both ecosystems.
