CryptoTanks has announced the launch of its Minimum Viable Product (MVP) or game demo today. This demo will enable players to experience the core game mechanics of CryptoTanks before its official release.
The MVP is a version of the upcoming game that’s stripped to only the barest game mechanics. These mechanics include maps; sounds; tank controls; shooting mechanics; and game menus. This version will only be playable on PCs and browsers. Additionally, players will not be able to access the DeFi mechanics and map selection.
Players can access CryptoTank’s MVP here. Players only need to log in and enter a lobby to wait for other players to join the match. Each session of the CryptoTanks demo will include five players with a 5-minute time limit. It can only be played in a PVP deathmatch format between people who are also accessing the demo.
CryptoTanks Co-Founder Max von Luttichau says that this demo is CryptoTank’s first chance to showcase its gameplay to the community. Furthermore, he adds how addicting the gameplay is despite only being a demo.
In addition to the demo launch, CryptoTanks also announced that its native currency TANK has been listed on the BitMart crypto exchange. Users must use TANK for every transaction within CryptoTanks in the full version of the game. Players will be able to spend TANK to buy tank NFTs, upgrade their tanks, and bet on battles with other players.
BitMart launched the TANK/USDT trading pair on February 17 and users can withdraw the following day.
The developers are still working on the full version of CryptoTanks, which will be playable on PCs and smartphones. Meanwhile, players can track the game’s progresshere, where updates are posted every Friday.
CryptoTanks is an NFT-based game that will launch in March. Players will be able to earn rewards by playing a spiritual remake of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game ‘Battle City’.
