Binance Removes Support for Polygon NFTs Six Months Post Integration

Back in March of this year, Binance NFT marketplace initially integrated support for Polygon. This move marked Polygon as the third network to be included in the Binance NFT marketplace, alongside Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain.

Withdrawal Deadline

Users who hold Polygon NFTs on the Binance NFT platform must initiate withdrawals by the end of this year to avoid any inconveniences.

Sandbox NFT Staking Program

In addition to ending support for Polygon NFTs, the NFT marketplace will also terminate its Sandbox NFT staking program. All Sandbox LAND NFTs will be automatically unstaked by the conclusion of this month.

Binance commented on the decision, stating:

“This decision was made after careful consideration and evaluation, and it is part of our ongoing efforts to streamline product offerings on Binance NFT Marketplace.”

Market Impact

Polygon’s native token, MATIC, experienced a 2.2% decrease in value within the last 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.
