An international branch of PricewaterhouseCoopers, PWC Hong Kong, has become the first globally recognized professional services brand to debut into The Sandbox metaverse. On the 23rd of December, the unit announced land acquisition in The Sandbox Metaverse. The Hong Kong branch has been exploring blockchain technology for over some time. Back in November 2017, the unit said that it had started accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment for its consultancy services.
Data from DappRadar revealed that The Sandbox had registered 4,450 unique users in the last 30 days. Also, the platform’s native token, SAND, is currently trading at $6.11.
PWC is a global brand specializing in the professional services network of firms. The company is often referred to as one of the big four accounting firms. The other three in this category include Deloitte, EY, and KPMG. Ahead of PWC, Atari has also purchased its Sandbox plot.
