Qtopia — Utopian Metaverse for LGBTQ Community Launches Soon 

Crypto Blockchain Industries (CBI) has announced that it will launch the first LGBTQ-focused metaverse. The Queer-friendly universe called Qtopia will reside inside a larger metaverse called the Alphaverse.

As expected, the Qtopia metaverse is designed to be an online hangout and meeting place for members of the LGBTQ community. Co-Founders Rachel Kimelman and Jordan Weiss are thrilled to introduce the inclusive space to the public. The duo believes that the virtual world will be ready to release by early 2023.

Weiss says:

We’re very excited and proud to announce the first LGBTQ-focused Metaverse and partner with AlphaVerseto launch it.

However, the digital space will not limit itself to being a hang-out space alone. Kimelman adds that Qtopia will support the community by not only providing them with a space to come together virtually from all over the world but also financially. “Part of our sales will be donated to charity, and our currency will focus on helping LGBTQ-friendly businesses.”

Qtopia’s native coin, the UniQoin, will soon be available for purchase. The team claims that the token can be used to buy anything from businesses both inside the metaverse and offline.

Qtopia will exist inside its parent metaverse — The Alphaverse — founded by Frédéric Chesnais. Chesnais was the former Chairman-CEO and principal shareholder of the immensely popular gaming company Atari. Founded in 1972, Atari played an integral role in the development of the arcade game, game console, and personal computer industries. Atari’s iconic games include Pong, Asteroids, and Centipede Missile Command.

While speaking on the topic, Chesnais quipped, “As the AlphaVerse continues to grow, we want to ensure it is inclusive and offers spaces for everyone. Qtopia is exactly the kind of community we want to welcome to the Metaverse.”
