REALM, a mobile-first social impact metaverse factory, is launching its mobile beta app on Google Play Store and Apple App Store on June 21, 2022. People visiting NFT.NYC will be allowed to attend the launch event, which will include an exclusive preview of a new kind of gaming experience, created in partnership with visionary artist OseanWorlds.
In detail, the exhibition will be open from 2:00 a.m. to 8:20 p.m. on June 21, 2022, at 251 Elizabeth Street, NYC. Attendees can join a scavenger hunt and win tokens and prizes from OseanWorlds’ Physical clothing and accessory collections.
The REALM app will showcase multiple realms, such as games, quotes, and galleries. Users will get a free developer tool at the launch, with which they can create custom “microverse” in their style in minutes. Here, no coding experience is required.
The REALM platform enables users to buy land parcels in REALM, with 9360 plots already up for grabs. The land is organized into four concentric areas, with the interior circle having higher traffic and value as compared to the external circles.
The REALM token will serve several utilities to holders, such as access to premium content and obtaining rewards from the project’s revenue. A further third of the proceeds are reserved for sustainability initiatives.
Significantly, through partnerships with projects like Plasticbank, Eden Reforestation Projects, and Brokoli, players will be able to change their digital nature into a physical form. Each tree or coral reef used for decoration in the REALM metaverse will mean one more real tree planted, or one more coral reef preserved.
The Founder and CEO of REALM, Matt Larby, remarked:
We really can’t wait to show the world what we cooked up with REALM. The beta launch is going to be awesome for anyone who can attend NFT.NYC. For everyone else, the app will be live to experiment with and build your own microverse. We want everyone, from regular folks to big brands to build up their own little experience in REALM.
