A spokesperson for Kris Marszalek, the CEO of Crypto.com’s also told Akron Beacon that the exchange was proud to be working with James and his foundation. He adds that the program will help not just the community, but can then be replicated in others to help more people achieve financial independence.
Over 1,600 children enrolled in the foundation’s I Promise school and their families will participate in the program. This partnership is coming after Crypto.com recently acquired the naming rights to the Staples Center in a 20-year, $700 million deal. The stadium which has been renamed Crypto.com Arena is known to be the home stadium of the NBA’s Lakers and Clippers, the NHL’s Kings, and the WNBA’s Sparks. Another big marketing move the crypto exchange made was its TV commercial featuring movie star Matt Damon.
