According to MYTONA, its metaverse will unite people in a social sandbox, allowing them to arrange their exhibitions, workshops, exclusive presentations, concerts, and much more.
A popular Russian game developer and publisher MYTONA has announced the launch of its own metaverse. Called MYTONAVERSE, the project aims at bringing communications closer to real-life interactions. Its key features include accessibility and usability, which allows anyone to easily join it.
Back in November, when sharing the plans to launch MYTONAVERSE, MYTONA founders Alexey and Afanasey Ushnisky said:
“When creating our metaverse, we focused on the feelings of our colleagues, friends, and our own, that something was missing in video calls. Considering that it has become difficult to physically get together, we got fired up with the idea of creating and embodying a metaverse where you could see friends and visit new places together without leaving home. Therefore, we decided to launch it on the eve of our beloved holiday — Christmas, so that people could unite with their families, hang out with friends and make new acquaintances.”
According to MYTONA, its metaverse will unite people in a social sandbox, allowing them to arrange their exhibitions, workshops, exclusive presentations, concerts, and much more. The team of developers is promising to constantly upgrade and improve the app, adding new features. For example, in the future, MYTONAVERSE might add support for blockchain as well as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Besides, its users will be able to set up their own businesses in the app. In particular, they will be able to create stores for selling their own goods and services.
At the moment, MYTONAVERSE is available only on iOS and Android. The PC version will be rolled out later.
