  • SHIB is now accepted by thousands of restaurants in 65 countries as payment.
  • Lavu and Verifone have announced a new collaboration.
  • Shiba’s owner previously hoped to speak more in the future.

The Shib Army is relieved about the growing number of Shiba Inu (SHIB) adoptions. Lavu has announced a new cross-distribution agreement with Verifone’s FLEX payment system, which utilizes the Advanced Payment Methods platform. SHIB will now be accepted at hundreds of restaurants on the program’s list, which are spread out to over 65 countries. This is a big boost for the already large number of people who use SHIB.

Lavu is a point-of-sale software company that helps restaurants manage their businesses. Verifone is a leading provider of electronic payment solutions. The two companies have been working together for some time, and this new agreement will allow even more people to use SHIB.

The FLEX system allows restaurants to accept a variety of payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and digital wallets. SHIB will now be added to that list of accepted payment methods.

Shytoshi Kusama, SHIB’s co-founder, didn’t provide many specifics, but a recent tweet may suggest discussions are still ongoing. In early February, SHIB announced a collaboration with Welly’s, a fast-food restaurant located in Naples, Italy. Red Bull is yet to offer any official confirmation.

Records show that end-of-life options are accessible to certain groups, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and their USD stablecoins in popular crypto wallets like PayPal, Venmo, WeChat Pay, Klarna Money Transfer (Swish), Vipps.

This development is believed to be good news, especially for SHIB holders. They can now use their digital assets regularly as a form of payment. With this new agreement, it will be easier than ever to use your Shiba at a variety of different locations.
