Particle B Announces Bison Trails’ Participation in Cronos Testnet and Mainnet Beta

  • Bison Trails will run a validator node for the Cronos Testnet and Mainnet Beta.
  • In December 2020, Bison Trails also provided the validator node infrastructure support on the Crypto.org chain.
  • Executive officials of both parties are happy with the project collaboration.

Particle B, a startup accelerator dedicated to incubating projects created on blockchains, announced the involvement of Bison Trails in the testnet and mainnet beta of Cronos, which is the first Cosmos Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chain for DeFi, NFTs, and Metaverse.

Bison Trails, a premier blockchain infrastructure platform-as-a-service (PaaS) company, will specifically run a validator node upon the mainnet beta launch of Cronos. Its participation in the launch of Cronos is in coherence with its goal of supporting the development of the blockchain ecosystem.

Basically, Bison Trails makes it easier for developers to build applications connecting to blockchain information, and to participate in decentralized networks.

Last December 2020, Crypto.com recruited Bison Trails to provide validator node infrastructure support on its chain. Bison Trail’s strong node infrastructure platform allowed validators to sign transaction blocks with low latency and high throughput on the Crypto.org chain.

Following this collaboration, Bison Trails will run a validator node on the already live Cronos testnet and the up-and-coming mainnet beta. Furthermore, Crypto.com will use Bison Trails’ infrastructure to provide node service on the Cronos chain. It will also contribute to network design and rollout support. Gary Or, the founder of Particle B, said:

We’re happy to have Bison Trails as one of the Validator Node operators for the current Cronos testnet and the mainnet. We chose to work with Bison Trails because of their skill with distributed systems and decentralized node infrastructure, as we have seen in our previous work with them on the Crypto.org Chain. Their node clusters are built on a multi-cloud, multi-region foundation spread across geographic regions and are able to withstand cascading failover events.

Meanwhile, the co-founder of Bison Trails, Aaron Henshaw, expressed his excitement and support towards the launch of Cronos. He noted, “We’re excited to support the launch of Cronos and believe that it will continue to advance the mainstream adoption of crypto with EVM compatibility and capability to support DeFi solutions and more. Similar to the launch of Crypto.org Chain, this is a milestone that will help expand access to innovative offerings and services.”
