- Snoop Dogg reveals that his recently-acquired Death Row records will be the first NFT record label.
- He also reveals that the label will be putting out artists through Metaverse.

After his performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show last week, Snoop Dogg announced in a clubhouse room that he is setting plans for Death Row Records to become the first NFT record label.
The artist has been fascinated with the Metaverse world ever since he entered the Metaverse world, as he announced in a tweet back on Sep 31, 2021.

As for his latest announcement, he commented later in a press release that his plan aims to put Death Row Records as the first major label to enter the Metaverse. The artist said:
Death Row will be an NFT label. We will be putting out artists through the metaverse. Just like we broke the industry when we were the first independent [label] to be major, I want to be the first major [label] in the metaverse.
The news came after the artist dropped his latest album B.O.D.R on Feb 11, which was made in partnership with blockchain gaming company Gala Games. The BODR record was released in a stash box of NFTs on the Gala Music store, which includes three exclusive bonus tracks and one NFT song.
As for his Death Row Records reveal, the artist said in a press release that if anything is constant, it’s that the music industry will always be changing. He also expressed how blockchain tech has the power to change everything again and tip the table in favor of the artists and the fans.
Snoop clarified that he believes the world is changing and the music industry is also on the move. Although these announcements are surprising for fans, they still rally behind Snoop to once again revolutionize the music space.
