The 1/1 exclusives land on Terra Virtua today from artists known for Judge Dredd, World of Warcraft, and Dungeons & Dragons, including an NFT attached to an original artwork’s ashes
Award-winning British fantasy artist Nick Percival has partnered with the sustainable metaverse and digital collectibles platform Terra Virtua, to create a supernatural-themed artwork collection of four non-fungible tokens (NFTs), available from today.
The collection includes the ‘The Soul Stealer’ 1/1 NFT, as well as a box containing the ashes of the original painting. After creating the NFT, Nick burnt the original hand-painted piece with a potential value of thousands, capturing the process himself in this unique video.
Percival is a British graphic artist and novelist, having produced artwork for renowned fantasy franchises including World of Warcraft, Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons and publishers such as Marvel, 2000AD (Judge Dredd, Slaine), BOOM! Studios (Clive Barker’s Hellraiser), IDW Publishing (Judge Dredd, Mars Attacks, The X-Files), Titan Books, Abaddon Books, Zenescope Entertainment, Fangoria and Radical, to name but a few.
The collection follows on from Nick’s launch last year of the world’s first NFT-only graphic novel – Bloodlines. The work was released in conjunction with the graphic novel to allow collectors to immerse themselves in the novel’s post-apocalyptic world, and engage with exclusive content.
Available as four supernatural collectible pieces, the new collection is available on the Terra Virtua marketplace, and includes:
- SOUL STEALER
She knows all your innermost thoughts and secret desires. Whilst you sleep – a restless, painful sleep, she creeps into your mind and steals your soul, leaving an empty shell of what once was human behind – a hollow being, cold and lifeless.
Soul Stealer gives the title ‘Bespoke Original’ a brand new meaning, as the NFT is the only remaining version of the artwork. This exclusive 1/1 NFT comes with a beautifully presented and signed box, containing the ashes of the artwork.

Terra Virtua, CEO, Jawad Ashraf, commented, “Following the success of Bloodlines we are ecstatic to collaborate with Nick on this new exclusive collection celebrating the supernatural. Nick is an incredibly talented artist who has embraced NFTs as part of his artistic output and he’s really pushing the boundaries with this latest collection.”
Nick Percival, commented, “Burning an original piece of my artwork was a strange and cathartic experience. Some may say that it was sacrilegious but I want to encourage debate and challenge perceptions around the value of digital and physical art. The Soul Stealer was the ideal piece for the project as someone will get to own the NFT and the ashes, the soul of the painting you could say.”
