The Mafia Metaverse Platform, SYN CITY, Appoints New CEO, Swae Lee

Things are heating up in the Metaverse and it’s never been as attractive as it is now. Not only can you create your own Mafia syndicates, but now the top Metaverse platform on the block(chain), SYN CITY has onboarded one of the most unique CEOs, Swae Lee.

Swae Lee, the American rapper known best for winning 5 grammy awards and separately collaborating with Drake, Alicia Keys as well as with Post Malone for the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack, has joined SYN CITY as its Chief Entertainment Officer.

This appointment marks a coming together of the worlds of metaverse gaming, NFTs, and music, the first of its kind heading into 2022. His work will include overseeing day-to-day operations in entertainment marketing, music, non-fungible tokens, eSports, A-List KOLs, music tech software, and building strategic partnerships in the sports industry.

Thanks to Mark Zuckerberg, the metaverse has entered the consciousness of the mainstream, but inside the blockchain, the metaverse has been alive and kicking for some time. The best-known metaverse games include Axie Infinity and Sandbox, which have millions of users buying and building new lands, buying and trading NFT in-game assets, and generally contributing to the success of this virtual gaming arena.

SYN CITY is the first Mafia metaverse that uses the MAAD (Mafia-as-a-DAO) approach where players are incentivized for playing, and for building their own syndicates. According to its founder, Roy Liu,
