The leading decentralized gaming world The Sandbox has announced its new partnership with Cube Entertainment, a South Korean entertainment company that operates as a record label, music production company, talent agency, event management, concert production company, and music publishing house.
The partnership aims to bring Korean culture to the world while operating virtual space and developing digital assets. In other words, this partnership is developing a metaverse business where a lot of events will be held to uplift Korean culture globally.
The partnership event was attended by the executives from both sides, including The Sandbox co-founder Sebastien Borget, The Sandbox Korea Directors Yohan Lee and Cindy Lee, Cube Entertainment CEOs Kang Seungkon and Ahn Woohyung, and so on.
The news was announced on the official Twitter page of The Sandbox on March 2.

During the event, the main guests talked about the partnership between the two companies with a lot of hope. One example is when CEO Ahn Woohyung of Cube Entertainment said this partnership would play the leading role to spread Korean culture around the world in the metaverse.
The Co-founder of The Sandbox Sebastien Borget also commented:
Cube is truly embracing the spirit of the open Metaverse by moving one step further into The Sandbox via its K-culture hub, where it is actively curating local brands and partners of their main K-POP label and offering them presence into The Sandbox through its own lands
In the meantime, The Sandbox parent Animoca Brands announced high hopes to spread Korean culture through their new joint venture, AniCube Entertainment, in the metaverse while continuing business alliances that are included in the Animoca Brands ecosystem.
