Russia and Ukraine have already started the talks to stop the war. In the meantime, Masha Efrosinina, who is a media personality and the goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Population Fund, has a different offer for the Russian armed forces.
Efrosinina uploaded an Instagram video in which she announces giving away 5 million rubles ($52,650 at the time of writing) in either crypto or fiat to the Russian soldiers who surrender. Moreover, the 42-year-old TV host offered forgiveness after their official trial. According to Efrosinina, the offer comes from “The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the global IT community.”
“The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the global IT community offer the Russian military to surrender, receive an amnesty, and earn money. IT people from all over the world have raised millions of dollars and will continue to collect to pay the Russian military 5 million rubles in cryptocurrency, to an account or in cash. As soon as soldiers with military equipment surrender, they receive money. Amnesty – after the trial. But the main thing is that they can give up right now and get money right now,” the FX Empire translated a part of the video.
Russians who didn’t know about killing

“Also noting that they didn’t know that they were brought to Ukraine to kill Ukrainians,” Markarova said in a video for the Washington Post. “They thought that they were doing something else there.”
