To commemorate the general availability launch of Base on August 9th, we are launching Onchain Summer—a month-long festival featuring contributions from 50 leading builders, brands, artists, and creators. Throughout August, Onchain Summer will showcase a diverse array of activities including art, music, gaming, advocacy, and more, all hosted onchain.

• Empowering Everyone with Grants: We are excited to announce grants in partnership with PropHouse to support creators building on Base this summer.
• Event Schedule:
  • Onchain Summer (August 9 – 18): Participate in art, website creation, or any inspired project on Base.
  • Build on Base (August 12 – 23): Deploy protocols, build infrastructure, or develop new applications on Base.
  • Stand with Crypto (August 14 – 24): Share stories or advocate for sensible legislation through a one-minute video.
  • Based Accounts (August 16 – September 13): Enhance user experiences on Base with innovative projects using account abstraction.
• Superhack Hackathon: Join the virtual hackathon from August 4-18, featuring $125,000 in prizes. Apply here.
