Reese Witherspoon, a TV actress and NFT pioneer stated that her production company, Hello Sunshine, has teamed up with NFT collective World of Women (WoW). Together they will introduce their character universe to the entertainment business. Hello Sunshine, will be able to expand the WoW universe into a variety of intellectual property, including feature films and television shows, as well as non-linear scripted and unscripted TV series.
World of Women Creating A Stir in the NFT Space
World of Women debuted in July 2021 with 10,000 original works created by women creators, quickly becoming one of the NFT space’s leaders. As conversations over intellectual property continue, this alliance illustrates yet another major step forward in the longevity and utility NFTs provide to the entertainment world.

Witherspoon, who has been a vocal member of the community, has used her social media platforms, particularly Twitter Spaces, to promote the importance of female-led projects and the metaverse’s possibilities.
