Crypto exchange Deribit has been hacked with an estimated $28 million stolen from a hot wallet.
The exchange says client funds are safe, however, any losses are covered by company reserves.
The company posted on Twitter: “We are performing ongoing security checks and have to halt withdrawals including third-party custodians Copper Clearloop and Cobo until we are confident all is safe to re-open.”
