Actor Seth Green’s NFT Stocks Phished, Four NFTs Stolen

Hollywood actor Seth Green tweeted that scammers phished his NFT hoards. The stolen NFTs were one Bored Ape Yacht Club, two Mutant Apes, and one Doodle.

Green implored his Twitter audience not to buy his stolen NFTs until he resolves the issue. A group of phishing scammers has stolen the expensive NFTs from the actor’s wallet.

However, the hackers had already sold two NFTs— a Bored Ape Yacht Club for nearly $200,000 and one of the Mutant NFTs for $42,200. The rest of the NFTs are worth $70,000. Contextually, the OpenSea NFT marketplace has flagged both Green’s account and the remaining two NFTs.

With the advent of blockchain technology and NFTs, many celebrities from various industries created their own NFTs and indulged in NFT games. Seth Green has launched his own NFT collection Pizzabots, in partnership with Heavy Metal magazine. Moreso, he is looking forward to an NFT-based animated series, along with crypto promoter Steve Aoki.

In other news, The Mr. Bean NFT Discord – approved by Rowan Atkinson himself – is being made available in the marketplace by Dubai-based crypto experts Fomo Lab to bring the fan community together. However, these collectibles have already been infiltrated by scammers as the buyers are being phished through dodgy links.

Notably, the year 2022 saw many celebrities entering to NFT realm. This includes rapper Snoop Dog, Serena Williams, Neymar, Gwyneth Paltrow, Madonna, Avenged Sevenfold, Gal Yosef, etc.
